Pulse — Health Workout Insights · Last updated: 5 July 2026
Pulse is designed to keep your data private. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information. In short: Pulse does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any of your data. Everything stays on your device.
With your permission, Pulse reads workout data from Apple Health (HealthKit), including your walking, running, and hiking workouts, distance, active energy, heart rate, workout routes, activity summaries, and date of birth (used only to estimate heart-rate zones). This access is read-only.
All Health data is read and processed entirely on your device to display your weekly, monthly, and yearly trends. Pulse never sends your Health data off your device, and never stores it on any server. Health data is never used for advertising or shared with third parties.
Your display name and optional report email address are stored locally on your device (in the app's settings) so they can appear in greetings and in reports you choose to create. This information is not transmitted to us or anyone else.
Pulse can generate PDF reports of your activity. These are created on your device and are only ever shared when you explicitly choose to share or email them, using your device's own sharing features. Pulse does not send anything automatically.
None. Pulse has no accounts, no analytics, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs that collect data. We do not use cookies or advertising identifiers.
Because Pulse stores nothing off your device, there is nothing for us to
delete. You can revoke the app's access to Health at any time in
Settings > Health > Data Access & Devices > Pulse,
and removing the app deletes any locally stored settings.
Pulse does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
