Frequently asked questions

Why is Pulse asking for Health access? Pulse reads your walking, running, and hiking workouts (distance, energy, heart rate, and routes) from Apple Health to show your trends. Access is read-only and can be changed anytime in Settings > Health > Data Access & Devices > Pulse.

Is my data private? Yes. All data stays on your device. Pulse has no accounts, no cloud, and no tracking. See our Privacy Policy.

I granted access but see no data. Make sure you've allowed Pulse to read the relevant categories in Settings > Health, and that you have walking, running, or hiking workouts recorded. Pull to refresh or reopen the app after granting access.

How do the weekly PDF reports work? Pulse creates the report on your device. It's only shared or emailed when you choose to do so — nothing is sent automatically.

Which devices are supported? Pulse runs on iPhone and iPad. Workout, route, and heart-rate data come from Apple Health, so an Apple Watch or a phone that records workouts gives the richest results.
